Welcome to the digital home of the Eta Theta Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Chartered on November 22, 2025, our chapter is proud to serve the vibrant communities of Laurel, MD and Prince George’s County. Our chapter is a collective of 27 phenomenal women—entrepreneurs, educators, and advocates—dedicated to the spirit of excellence and the power of sisterhood.

With nearly one million residents and over 200 public schools in our county, the Eta Theta Chapter is committed to delivering impactful Iota national programs, projects, and scholarships where they are needed most. We aim to transform lives through intentional action. We have hit the ground running with establishing community partnerships, business education, youth mentoring, and scholarships.

 

​Our Eta Theta Chapter sisterhood is grounded in unity, friendship, and love.  We cherish the bonds we share and carefully nurture them through intentional sisterly activities.  We are truly grateful for one another, which makes it easier to accomplish our goals with shared purpose, compassion, and trust in the work we are called to do.
